Purchases made on quicksand.it are governed by Italian law on distance selling (Legislative Decree No. 185 of May 22, 1999).

Confirmation of the order constitutes the Customer’s acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.

Validity of Offers

The items listed on the website are generally available for immediate delivery.

In the event that a product is temporarily out of stock or there is a delay in its delivery, the buyer will be promptly notified by email or phone.

However, Quicksand reserves the right not to fulfill the order, without assuming any liability and without this giving rise to any obligation to compensate the buyer.

Product Prices

Prices are listed in euros.

Quicksand reserves the right to change its prices at any time; however, products will be billed at the price in effect at the time the order is placed.

Any order placed on the website and shipped to countries outside the EU may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are imposed when the package is delivered. These duties and taxes associated with the delivery of an item are the customer’s responsibility. Quicksand is not required to verify applicable customs duties and taxes. We therefore inform you that by placing an order on the website www.quicksand.it, you are considered the official importer and are required to comply with all laws and regulations of the country where you receive the goods. We want our customers to be aware that cross-border shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Shipping

Orders shipped to Italy

For all orders shipped to Italy, the shipping fee will vary depending on the destination of the goods.

We also deliver to hotels: please include your name and the dates of your stay at the hotel in the notes.

Orders Shipped to the Rest of the World

Shipping to destinations outside of Italy involves costs that vary depending on the destination of the goods.

Order Processing Times

All orders placed between Monday and Friday (excluding holidays and days preceding holidays) will be shipped within 48 hours.

Orders containing racquets that require special handling will ship within 7 business days.

The times listed above are approximate and may vary during peak season and/or holidays.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Italy:
Domestic shipping is handled by nationally recognized express carriers known for their reliability. On average, deliveries throughout Italy are made within 24 to 48 hours. The delivery times indicated above are strictly approximate and may vary during holiday periods and/or depending on the destination. In any case, Quicksand srl is not liable for any delays caused by the courier.

Rest of the World:
Shipping outside of Italy is handled by international couriers that provide ground shipping services. Delivery times range from 5 to 15 business days, depending on the destination. Some destinations may be served by air shipping if the order does not contain bulky items. In any case, Quicksand will select the fastest service available to minimize your wait time for your order.

IMPORTANT
To ensure accurate and safe delivery, you must provide the delivery address as precisely as possible. It is therefore important to include all relevant details in the address, such as staircase, unit number, intercom, etc… Quicksand is not responsible for any delays and/or non-deliveries caused by incomplete or incorrectly provided addresses at the time of ordering. In any case, Quicksand is not liable for any delivery delays caused by the carrier. Any such delays will not entitle the buyer to claim damages of any kind.

Payments

Quicksand accepts the following payment methods:

Cash on delivery (Italy only)
You can choose “Cash on Delivery” as your payment method. You will need to have the exact amount of your order available in cash upon delivery. The courier does not accept checks or other securities; they are authorized to collect cash only. Cash on Delivery has an additional charge of €5.00 (courier fee).

Payment via PayPal
You can select PayPal as your payment method in your shopping cart. The PayPal login page will open so you can access your account and complete the payment. If you don’t have a PayPal account yet, you can create one on the PayPal login page before completing your order.

Warranties

Quicksand sells only genuine products, covered by an official warranty

Manufacturer’s Warranty
Every product distributed on Quicksand is covered by the Official Manufacturer’s Warranty in accordance with Italian law. Starting from the date of delivery of the product, the purchaser is covered by a 24-month warranty period. Once a defect is discovered, the consumer has 2 months to report it to Quicksand, which will ensure the consumer’s rights are protected by completing all necessary procedures to obtain repair and/or replacement of the product as quickly as possible. The warranty never covers damage to the products caused by improper use, nor any damage caused by the products to third parties or to third-party property.

Conformity Guarantee
A defect of conformity is defined as a defect that is verifiable upon receipt of the product and in any case visible before the product is used.
Quicksand offers a direct guarantee against defects of conformity and ensures the immediate replacement of the “non-compliant” product.
For all other cases the Manufacturer’s Warranty is valid.

Examples of nonconformities:

  • Receipt of a product damaged during shipping.
  • Receipt of a new product with a visible defect prior to use.

Products Not Covered by the Warranty

Rackets that have been modified are excluded from any type of warranty.

Discovery of a Manufacturing Defect and Return Procedure

The purchaser must notify Quicksand of any problem and/or alleged defect within 15 days of discovering it, requesting a return of the affected product via [email protected]

Quicksand will authorize the return of the product (with shipping costs borne by the purchaser), conduct a technical analysis, and issue a determination regarding the specific case. Following the technical assessment, Quicksand will replace the product if a defect is confirmed, or return the product if it does not fall under the terms of the warranty. In any case, the manufacturer’s technical assessment is final for all quality issues.

Right of Withdrawal and Return Policy

You have the right to cancel the contract (pursuant to Decree-Law No. 206/2005 on the Right of Withdrawal) without penalty and without providing a reason, within fifteen (15) business days from the date you receive the purchased products.

How to Request a Return

Any intention or need to request a return must always be reported to Quicksand in writing, via [email protected] or by using the appropriate form available on the Right of Withdrawal page. You will receive a response very shortly, either accepting or denying the request as appropriate, along with clear instructions on how to proceed with the return. No returns will be accepted unless they have been previously authorized in writing by Quicksand.

Requirements for a Replacement or Refund

All returned products (except in the case of a warranty replacement) must retain the same characteristics they had at the time of purchase; therefore, they must be in “like-new” condition and ready for resale. They must have all original seals, labels, tags, boxes, or packaging intact. If this important requirement is not met, the product will be considered “used” and will therefore be returned to the sender with shipping costs charged to the sender, or retained with a penalty ranging from 60% to 80% of the purchase price, depending on the condition of the returned product upon arrival.

In particular, it is important to highlight the return policy for these products as follows:

Rackets:
The plastic coating on the handle must remain intact; the racket must not have any scratches, marks, or writing on it. It must not have undergone any modifications or have any accessories attached (overgrips, sealed tape, etc.).

Rackets purchased in conjunction with a service are considered customized products for the customer and are not eligible for return.

Clothing:
An item of clothing must be returned complete with its original packaging and with the manufacturer’s tags still attached. Removing the tags from the garment implies that the product has been used and will result in the loss of the right to a replacement or refund. In any case, the garment must be returned new, unworn, unwashed, and free of marks, stains, tears, and/or any alterations.

Bags and Accessories:
The product must be returned with all tags attached and in its original, undamaged packaging. Products packaged in plastic blister packs must be intact and the blister pack must remain unopened.

Shipping Costs for Returns

Quicksand will cover the shipping costs in the event that a product is non-conforming or arrives damaged.

In all other cases—such as size exchanges, the right of withdrawal, exchanges for another product, warranty replacements, etc.—shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Refund Policy

The refund will be processed as soon as possible, and in any case within 15 days of receipt of the merchandise, using the method specified by the customer at [email protected]

IMPORTANT
If, following a return made under the Right of Withdrawal (requested for an order with Free Shipping), the net remaining value of the order falls below the threshold for free shipping (199.00 euros in Italy), the shipping costs previously waived will be charged back to the buyer. All returns—including those with shipping costs covered by Quicksand—are shipped at the buyer’s own risk, and the buyer is fully responsible for any damage to the products during transit.
Returns for which Quicksand covers the shipping costs must be shipped exclusively via the designated carrier, which is always indicated in our Return Authorization document. Returns sent to us on a collect basis via a carrier other than the one specified will be automatically refused and returned to the sender.

Product Presentation

The products for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible.
However, the products may differ from how they appear in the video due to obvious screen color settings (e.g., the shade of a garment). The images displayed are provided by Quicksand.

Processing of Personal Data

Customer data is processed by Quicksand in accordance with the provisions of the laws governing the protection of personal data, as specified in the Privacy Policy provided pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, and EU Regulation 2016/679.
